This oxymoron that cannot be translated in a literal fashion is the culmination of this set of works.

Sofia Santa-Rita explores the relationship between image and text, combining poetry and handwritten word with video editing and photography.

Loaded with sensorial flagrancy, her works arise from the need to fill up and fill out the space between the self and the other.

Beatriz Santa-Rita explores Imagined Architectures through painting, where geometric shapes search for the line of the contour that draws them. The painting jumps from the canvas to other foldable materials, both literally and metaphorically.

It is exactly in this subversion of formal mechanisms that the works of both artists meet. 

The viewer moves through the space of the exhibition as through the corridors of a house, where walls are built of paper, canvas and light.
